Business can't succeed - no matter how big or small, without exchanging
information. It's been less than a decade since the heavy adoption of
email, but can you even think of conduction business today without it?
While exchanging information via email seems second nature, think of all of
the documents that are electronically stored throughout your organization. Then
think of all of the different versions and lastly, do you know where all of the
latest versions of each document is located?
Now put on top of this all of the information is sent to customers/clients via email,
snail mail, and carried out by your staff and left a the client. Add to that the
repetitive requests from customers for the same information.
If any of this sounds familiar - even reasonably - you should look into collaborative
software from Microsoft - software that you already own or can download for free.
